Innovating solutions for sustainable paper production.
Scale inhibitors, chelates, dispersants or defoamers – our complete portfolio for the pulp and paper production provides you with the optimal formulation for your application. We support you in finding exactly the right solution: for example, for pulp deresination, paper machine cleaning or pulp bleaching processes.
Our biocides protect the paper manufacturing process by preventing an in-process slime formation. They also preserve water-based mill additives such as mineral slurries and paper coatings.
Metal ion chelators such as Trilon® serve as bleach stabilization during the pulp bleaching process or as an ion chelating anti-scale additive for aqueous processes.
The Degressal® foam suppressor has an outstanding performance in foam inhibition. As a high-quality defoamer, Degressal® helps our customers to increase productivity and save energy.
Additionally, our portfolio comprises surfactants such as Lutensol® or Pluronic® which support the production process of pulp deresination or facilitate the removal of lignin. Others can be used as active components in acidic alkaline cleaners for paper machine cleaning.
Dispersing agents are needed in wide variety of industries. In the process of producing pulp and board they are used for inorganic pigments. With Sokalan® for instance, the production of slurries benefits from stable rheological properties, long term stability of the slurry, a small particle size and a uniform particle size distribution. As a water-soluble polymer, Sokalan® functions also as a dispersant for mineral pigment coating or as an anti-scale additive for aqueous processes.
