We combine several product lines that are key to high-quality textile products and an ideal wearing comfort. With our in-depth know-how of surface modification processes, emulsifying or dispersing, we support customers in every stage of textile processing: fiber production, weaving, pre-treatment, dyeing, printing or finishing.
Textile chemicals should not only perform their specific function, but they should also conform to specific needs. We have an outstanding knowledge of the problems that formulators in the textile industry are confronted with in each stage of textile processing and we provide individual solutions. In close cooperation with our customers, we develop efficient and cost-effective products.With chelates and soluble silicates for example, we enhance the control of metal ions in textile processing. Trilon® is a chelating agent facilitating pronounced bleaching effects without destroying the fibers. Dispersants such as Sokalan® function as dye scale inhibitor and prevent clothing from fading or changing their color in the wash. Our emulsifier range supports the processes of scouring, finishing and softening. Lutensol® for instance can be used for the pre-treatment of textile material. Applied as scouring agents, both remove impurities commonly found in textile such as natural oils, spinning oils, dirt or machine oils from prior production steps. Lutensol® can also be used for finishing and softening. As a silicone emulsion it adds various functionalities to a fabric, from water repellency and abrasion resistance, to advanced wrinkle recovery and antistatic effects.
